New Pattern for the Month of Love💕

February is such a fun month because of all the Valentine’s candy, activities, and cute cards. I love seeing red and pink hearts everywhere! Which is one of the reasons I’m loving this new pattern so much!
I mean, just check out how cute it looks on my quilt shelf above my couch!!

This pattern came to me quite suddenly, and I knew I had to get it written up as quickly as I could so people could play with it during the month of Valentine’s Day.
This pattern has a similar block layout to one of the quilt blocks from the Sew Easy block of the month Quilt along from two years ago. However, there’s one major difference! This pattern has rectangles of fabric as “spacer blocks” to give it a modern feel.

And because I’m such a sucker for Star blocks, I couldn’t make a quilt pattern without some star points in it. Which works out nicely, because it makes our stamp block in the bottom, right hand of the quilt.

I also got to show this quilt off in a sneaky way! As a national educator for Handi Quilter, they sometimes have me come into their recording studio as a collaboration with other amazing sewing companies.

I had the chance to go in this week to teach a fun project on a live stream on YouTube ( by SMP live! You can go back and watch the recorded live stream if you want to catch a glimpse of the Stamped with Love pattern – my portion of the show starts around 20 min in.

The project I taught for SMP Live focused on a project you could finish on the Longarm so I made a table runner. I used the leftover HSTs from the heart blocks and turned them into pinwheels!

Check them out!
I haven’t finished the binding on it yet. But we’ll get there! The other fun part about this project is the chenille yarn. It’s super soft, but even more fun to play with using the couching foot on the Longarm! You’ll have to check the video to see what I mean. (
You can see that “Be My Valentine” was made with yarn – it was stitched down with the Longarm! It’s such a fun process and can liven up any project. And now I have a matching table runner to go with my quilt. 😊
You can get the pattern for the Stamped with Love quilt pattern at my shop ( and still have plenty of time to make it for Valentine’s Day! It really is a quick sew and finishes up to 50×50 so it makes a nice wall hanging or baby quilt! If you make the quilt, use the hashtag #stampedwithlovequilt so I can see what you make!
