Every dollar goes directly toward Dale's trip. Any donation, in any amount, earns you one entry into the drawing for 12 months of free longarm quilting, up to a limit of 5 entries per person.
Your generosity is never capped. There's no limit on how much you can give to support Dale, entries in the drawing are simply capped at 5 per person so the drawing stays fair for everyone. If you'd like to give beyond that, you're always welcome to donate directly through Dale's GoFundMe, every dollar there goes straight toward his trip.
Meet Dale
A kid who is absolutely obsessed with music
Dale is 14 years old and music isn't just something he does. It's who he is. He plays trombone in both Jazz Band and Symphonic Band, sings tenor in Madrigals Choir, takes piano lessons, and for fun plays the Kashaka shakers and kalimba.
This past year, his band teacher nominated him for the Utah Ambassadors of Music program. Next summer, he'll travel to 5 European countries, perform at every stop, and represent Utah on an international stage.
The program doesn't offer fundraising help, so Dale has been out there all summer mowing lawns, weeding, and babysitting to earn his way. He saved up his first $1,000 on his own. But Utah decided to have a drought year, and with the lawns dying, the income dried up too. He still needs $9,500 to make this trip happen.
I'm his mom. I do longarm quilting. And I came up with an idea.

One lucky winner gets a full year of professional longarm quilting services, completely free. Here's what that means.
One quilt per month
The winner receives 12 quilts longarmed over 12 consecutive months. One beautiful finish, every single month for a year.
You bring the quilt top
Winner provides their own quilt top and batting. I handle everything else. Thread, time, and talent all included.
Local pickup or ship to me
Local to Utah? Come drop it off. Out of state? We can work out shipping. This prize is open to all.

Dale has agreed to earn his half of this arrangement the old-fashioned way. While I'm spending my time and supplies quilting for the winner, Dale will be doing whatever I need around the house. Babysitting. Yard work. Weeding. Housework. Whatever comes up. He's not just asking for a handout. He's trading his time and effort for mine, and we're both asking you to be part of it.
