A New Project and a Finished Quilt
Hello my lovelies! I wanted to share some of the goings on here at Ladybug Threads in the new year. I’m excited for 2024! I have a lot of new things coming and changing this year, including a new little one on the way.
With all of the life changes that happened last year, the blog posts definitely slowed down. I’m not going to guarantee that they’re going to be consistent this year either, because we all know how babies take all of our time.
In the meantime, while we wait for this one’s arrival, I’ve got a new pattern ready for all of you to try this year.
The pattern is a mystery block of the month that is focusing on star blocks this year. The first quilt block is quite easy, but don’t be fooled! These patterns are beginner, friendly, but I have a few new tricks to teach everyone in the coming months. Even with the new tricks, the patterns will still be beginner, friendly.
Now to share last year’s finish!
If you sewed along with me last year to make this Log Cabin quilt, I would love to see your finished quilts!! Please tag me on socials or use the hashtags #seweasybom #seweasy2023 or #seweasylogcabin
Some of you may know that as well as pattern designing I also do longarm quilting! A perk of being a member of the Facebook Sew Easy Block of the month group is that I giveaway free longarm quilting at the end of the year! So if you want a chance to win free longarm quilting – join the group and dust off that sewing machine! I can’t wait to see what you make!
